Yeah, finally in all, you can eat place that has shashimi. What an awesome idea! Great variety, good sauces amazingly fast and efficient service. Highly. Recommend.

Hamachi Kama. That's it, that's my draw to Fuji Sushi. This lightly fried piece of goodness is why I'd go back again and again. Flaky, soft and flavorful; my stomach just tumbled thinking about. Fuji Sushi is located across from the Vacaville Outlets in the Nut Tree Plaza (right by Fenton's Ice Cream and the Jelly Belly store). There is plenty of parking though you may have to walk a bit since the restaurant area is busy. Went on a Saturday morning around 11 am when they opened. I had put us on the waitlist on Yelp but we didn't actually need to. We were seated at the bar when we walked in. Fuji has a conveyor belt that pushes out smaller dishes like California rolls, tuna rolls, seaweed, jelly fish, octopus, orange slices. For more speciality rolls, you can order with the chef or they already have some of them premade if you go during a little slower time. This time around I got the Dragon Roll and the Caterpiller Roll. For my hamachi Kama as well as items like edamame, chicken karaage, gyoza, miso soup, soft shell crab and drinks, you would order from a waiter. They are also the people you would ask for fried banana and fried sesame balls at the end of your meal as dessert. The fried banana used to have chocolate on it and I wish they would put some honey on it instead of just powdered sugar. It's good but could've been better. The bathrooms are clean, the turnaround in the restaurant is pretty quick and there's always someone to help. I'll definitely go back again the next time I have a craving for the hamachi kama!

I rolled up to Vacaville cause I needed some pants for a new job since I've lost hella weight. I wanted to hit some fresh sashimi and indulge in all the goodness so I did! Salmon was buttery and fire, the hand rolls were outstanding and the tempura was hot and fresh and the rolls o ordered were awesome too! I love this place even though I love more upscale sushi spots but this hits a craving for sure!

Visited my Mom and stepdad up north. They asked if we could have lunch at Fuji Sushi Buffet. Did they even have to ask? This is one of the last sushi buffet's that I know of. Many of them--along with Asian buffets--did not survive the pandemic. Thank heaven FSB did. They are a godsend. My stepdad doesn't eat much anymore, but he always eats well there. My mom of course, eats like the it was her last time there (just kidding). As for myself, I made a shame of myself eating so much. That place is so good. The is always fresh and there is so much variety. It is surprising how quickly they turn out the sushi. I must have went back 4 times and each time they had something I wanted. It was our first time so we were hesitant on how things work. It was easy and quick to catch on! The service is quick! You have the option to sit at the bar or at a table. Luckily, they had the usual appetizers that we would expect to see at any sushi restaurant. Therefore, our daughter was able to eat as well and enjoy shrimp tempura. Pricing for children is much lower than the adult price. It was approximately the child's age times 2. The sushi was good especially for the price and all you can eat. We definitely plan to come back and try out other things on the menu. They also serve sliced fruit depending on the fruit for the day. My daughter had 2 plates of sliced orange!
